INHALE LIFE. EXHALE MUSIC.

The Borowsky siblings have been performing together since a young age, accumulating a list of performances in 35 countries. In 2004, they received the Erick Friedman Prize and performed a full recital at Weill Recital Hall to rave reviews. Highlights in recent seasons have included a three-month residency in Germany sponsored by the Rhein-Neckar Cultural Foundation, performances of the Beethoven Triple Concerto with orchestras in Lithuania, China, Germany, and the USA, tours of Cuba and Lithuania... and the development of their own original compositions for trio.

These original trios have proven to be a unique offering that is a hit with audiences.
Although we do gladly present traditional classical trio programs, our signature program, "Inhale Life, Exhale Music" features a combination of our most popular original compositions with programmatic works by contemporary composers. Each piece on the program is preceded by a story, allowing us to guide our audience on a musical adventure.
"Thanks for taking us back to a time like the radio era where you listened and imagined
what was going on and made your own pictures you were hearing. Hearing new and original music works gives you that opportunity again.... Thanks for bringing us into the 21st century where we can be in a better frame of mind to enjoy new music, not endure it!"
(Mike)
In many ways, this program is the best introduction to who we are as people and musicians. Although the music is unfamiliar, it is all immediately accessible.
"My wife and I congratulate you on a sterling performance.
Truly, we are impressed by your virtuosity, your enthusiasm, your charm,
and your apparent modesty." (Armin)

"I would definitely pay to have seen something, and have, of this caliber at the Kennedy Center.
I can feel and see the picture you are painting through music. I feel your passion and only wished
I had not stopped taking piano after 3 years."
(Dale)
Regular concert goers will find artistic and technical depth in the selections, and newbies will find it a very fun and welcoming program (that will hopefully encourage them to come back, again and again, to your series).
"Yesterday's concert was wonderful! We greatly enjoyed the wonderful music and the pleasant atmosphere. . .
Hands down, we enjoyed your piece, the last one of the evening, the best - by far.
Please let us know when you will be playing again. We'd like to become regulars!
Add two more fans to your fan club." (Philipp)

"While there are no shortage of musicians who are run of the mill excellent,
real musicians who address the structure of the piece and create a wonderful overall experience
when they play are always going to be rare. You are undoubtedly in the second category.

Count me in as one of your fans." (Michael)
We are consistently told by presenters and educators that this program is "exceptional," "unique," and "truly engaging."
"Your performances yesterday were absolutely incredible. The American Virtuosi are definitely major players in today’s world of composition and chamber music. Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing such an extraordinary aesthetic experience to our students, faculty, and substitute teachers here at Friends Lower School."
(Dr. Anne E. Culbertson, Friends School of Baltimore)
When we shared this program at a concert series outside Philadelphia, we were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the audience response. The very next morning, we got an email asking us to return for their next season. This series regularly features acclaimed performers, including Philadelphia Orchestra concertmaster, violinist David Kim.

The same week, we performed the program in Oregon. Shortly after the performance we received the following message:
"Where should I begin to thank you for sharing such poignant, unearthly music?  Your depth and range are spectacular. You seemed to breathe each note as you offered it to your audience. Your every gesture told the story."
We guarantee an authentic and engaging experience for your audience.
